Happy holiday everyone!
I'm new user. Still try to figure it out how to use the order manager. I wonder how to change the pick list and invoice templete, I would like to have the item location on the pick list templete. and also want to add our logo on invoice.
Thanks Jen |

Hey Jen,
Pick List should (by default) show the location field from the products ordered, if a matching SKU was found in your Inventory and there was some value entered for the "Location" field for that product. You might want to sort the Pick List by location; this can be done by changing the parameter "PickListTemplate" at System Parameters to "Pick List by Location", if memory serves.
As for the invoice logo, have you checked out this KB article? - http://www.stoneedge.com/help/OM_DOC/reports/customizereports.html

Hey Mark,
This is Mike. We did the express setup earlier today. I followed the directions on the Knowledge base up until it says to Export. I copied the invoice template and renamed (save as CUSTOMIZED INV. TEMPLATE). I right clicked and clicked "export". It prompts me to save the file. I know I'm supposed to follow step 3: #3. Browse to the location of your store's data file and select Custom Reports.mdb.
I'm not exactly sure where the store's data file is.
Thanks in advance,
Mike |

Hm, we may have to revise that KB article. You should be able to use Custom Report Maintenance (in the Maintenance Menu), which will locate the appropriate Custom Reports.mdb for you.
To answer your question, the store's data file should be in a shared directory somewhere on your network. The actual location can be found by hitting Ctrl-Shift-C at the Main Menu. The path to the current data file is on the first line.

Mark,
Thanks for the prompt response. I"m having a hard time with this because every time I click on preview after clicking CUSTOMIZED INVOICE TEMPLATE it keeps saying "The expression on Open you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: *The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user defined function, or {event procedure}.
*There may have been an error in evaluation the function, event, or macro. |
