Let me explain my situation and see if anyone can lend me some advice or any clearer understanding.
I want to roll out a monthly newsletter subscription based product.
I am using Shopsite 8 as my cart.
I have Order Manager handeling all my orders.
My question is this, If I sell a product on my shopsite store, I import the subscriptions into my order manager with Subscription Manger installed, And it builds a list, right?
Now some of these people will be going month by month, and others a year at a time.
Will Subscription manager send out invoices to these people and will it bill thier cards for me? Or is it a manual process I would have to go through every month? |

The Subscription Manager allows you to set up a variety of recurrence patterns. You would set them up based on the subscription SKU being sold on the website. If a customer wants the newsletter on a monthly basis, you would need a SKU that is configured to use monthly recurrence then a separate SKU for the annual recurrence. For each subscription SKU you can also define when an invoice would be sent prior to the expiration of the subscription. The system can be set up to store card information and can also automatically charge for the order if needed.
Basically you will need to run the subscription review system regularly to see who is due for a shipment (newsletter). Once you run the review and generate the necessary orders, you would use our regular order processing tools in the Order Manager for the fulfillment end of things. I'd recommend using the Multi-Order Processor to handle the review, approval and charging of the orders. Couple of clicks and you're done...
