It's actually easier. You should NOT copy the data file to the new computer. That is VERY important. You would only do that if the new computer is the only computer in use. In normal operations where multiple computers are sharing the same data file, you start by backing up your data file. Then you just install the new version on one computer, get everyone else out of the program, then run the new version. It will update the data file. Once that is done, install the new version on the other computers and resume normal operations.
