| Version 5.906 is now available for downloading. The main change in this version is a fix for the problem that some users experienced with slow searches for orders in 5.905. Several other minor bugs were also fixed. |

Hi Barney and crew,
I have not been able to find the release notes for 5.906, but here are a few issues we have found in the 10 days we have been using 5.904.
Drop-ship PO's - No PO number in the email sent to vendors. Worked fine in 5.610
UPS Overnight, Saturday Delivery - When you create a new order on a Friday and select UPS Overnight delivery, a check box comes up and asks you to confirm that you want Saturday deliver. When our shipper packs the order and creates a UPS label through SEOM, there is no prompt for Saturday delivery and the label is generated for Monday delivery. You have know to manually check the Saturday delivery box. That was a $122 lesson for us, hopefully this can help someone else avoid learning the same lesson.
I don't know if either of these items has been addressed in 5.906.
Regards,
Bob R. CycleBuy.com |

Upgraded to 5.904 then 5.906 two days later.
The one thing we've found so far:
We generally always have our pending orders window open. If someone calls in and we input a manual order, when we go back to our pending overs, the screen goes to the first order and not the last one we were viewing.
It's just a little bit of a peeve cause we do this a lot.
Bob- we've been using UPS Worldship instead of stone edge for that sort of thing. In general, we walk 2nd day and overnight orders out to the warehouse and tell the packer specifically. We usually don't get those shipping requests a lot, and most of our mistakes happen out there anyways.
Could someone school me where to change window sizes real quick? (new version takes up the whole monitor now |

This one was fixed in 5.905 Bob.

The system parameter to control this is called ResizeFormSize. After setting it, the View Orders screen will need to be closed using the little x in the upper right hand corner. Or you can just restart Order Manager. |

Yes, I saw it today on one of our machines running SEOM 5.906/Access XP/2002. This machine was updated last week by SEOM support to fix the "At DoCarryForward: Error = 9: Subscript out of range" error mentioned farther up this page. |

When i first run Inventory Value on a computer, it hangs. When i then close the program via task manager and try running it again, it says run time error 3012: Object IVAQ1 already exists.
I need to run a report that shows the value of our instock inventory. Is this the correct report?

Starting with this version (or maybe with the 5.9xx series of versions), the ChannelAdvisor tracking updates are being done with API calls instead of uploading a flat file via FTP. Is there any way to prevent the tracking for Manual Orders from being sent up just because they happen to be associated with a ChannelAdvisor type of cart?
We always associate Manual Orders with one cart name or another for purposes of pricing and branding. Once the order is shipped, SEOM's tracking export sends an API call to upload that tracking number to ChannelAdvisor. But since there is no SourceOrderNumber (i.e., it is null), the XML envelope is built with no Order ID tag in it, and the message ends up as an error entry on the stack controller.
That means I have to take the time to look through these errors to confirm they are the usual Manual Order type of errors, in case some other type of error might be mixed in. Could the tracking export be smartened up to skip any orders where the Order Source is "MO" instead of "CA", even if the CartID is for a ChannelAdvisor type of cart? Or if there is a reason many users would want to do this kind of upload, could there be a parameter to opt NOT to upload tracking for manual orders? |
Thanks, Alan http://www.powerbrixx.com using SEOM 5.906 Enterprise, Access 2002 SP3, store in SQL Server 2008 Express Edition |

That is the correct report. It sounds like it was run previously and something caused a query it created to be left over. On that computer in Order Manager, press F11 to bring up the database window. Go to Queries and find the query IVAQ1. Delete it and you should be able to run the report. |

We just upgraded to 5.906 yesterday. During the upgrade, we lost the ability to generate emailed PDF purchase orders, quotes, and sales orders from all of our workstations.
Anyone know how to fix this?

| Do you need to import a custom form that is your pdf invoice, etc.? I know we have to do that every time we upgrade. |

| We needed to uninstall and reinstall the Order Manager PDF generator after the actual Stone Edge installation to de-corrupt the PDF generator. |
