So will release 5.612 support shiprush 6 or is it only the 5.8 beta series that supports this newer version?

What about ShipRush 7?
Is there any way for 5.611 to support ShipRush 7?

No. 5.9 series supports shiprush 7.

Ok, I'm a bit confused. When I contacted support on 10/21, they told me that when we upgrade to the 5.9 series "You'll need to be running version 5.7 of Ship Rush". Can we actually upgrade to version 7 of Ship Rush when we install the 5.9 track?

The 5.9 series of Order Manager support the version 5, 6, and 7 series of ShipRush. So yes, you can upgrade ShipRush after you upgrade Order Manager to 5.9.
