It has been my experience that UPS will bill you according to what the driver enters into his/her system on delivery (residential or commercial) regardless of what we input at the time of shipping. FedEx too.
UPS has started using its auto correction on addresses do the driver dose not need to change it for the change to be made. |

| I noticed the Batch Printing link doesn't get highlighted anymore when there are orders in the queue. Would it be possible to have it highlighted like before? We don't use the batch printing that often, but sometimes we put in orders manually from home and leave it in the batch print queue and now we forget to print them in the mornings. |

I will look into getting that fixed. |

| Has anyone had difficulty using some of the quick filters in the most recent version? On our system, when certain filters are used (like "stock items to be filled" or "drop ships to be ordered", the SEOM will completely freeze up. |

There's an issue in 5.904 where certain filters take a very long time to run (they do finish if you wait long enough, although the time can vary depending on various factors). I've fixed it for the next release and passed the fix onto our support staff. |

Jared:
We are having this issue as well. Mostly in the Backorders to be filled Quick Filter and I have let it run for a very long time and it freezes and doesn't seem to come back. Can you tell me what your definition for long enough is so we can try to wait that long?

Jared is out sick today, but if you call our Support staff, they can give you a fix for the speed problem. |

Barney:
I just gave them a call and got the support ticket. I was calling about another problem in this case but I don't think it is a stone edge version issue, I think our data file may be corrupt. On one of our two stores, we can no longer search by web order number (we can still search by OM order number). I have tried ctrl+shift+I and ctrl+shift+f and we get an error during each attempt.
At Check Tables Error=91 Object Variable or With Block Variable Not Set (ctrl+shift+I error)
At Fixup: Error=2046 The Command Or Action "Output To" Isn't Available Now (ctrl+shift+F error)
I tried accomplishing both of these directly on the server that the data file resides on and on a workstation. No luck on either.
Unfortunately I have to leave town in an hour to go to a trade show for a full week so it may have to wait until next week. |
Sincerely,
David Sobel www.allerc.com |

David -
You could try re-setting the table links. At the Main Menu, press control/shift/L. When it is done, exit and re-start the program.
You should also check the versions of Access and the Office service packs that you have installed. The problem computer may need an update. |

This is the first week we are using this new version of Order Manager 5.904, and have noticed the following bug: When using the quick filter: orders from last import, upon clicking Approve/Print now, instead of the next order coming up, we get an "error = 2455: you entered an expression that has an invalid reference to the property Form/Report" We then have to click OK, and manually click the next arrow to move to the next order. Is this a known bug? Is there a fix? Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. thanks Moe

| This seems to be an issue in older versions as well: In manual orders if you put in a US address for billing and an international address for shipping you get shipping rates based on the billing address when you click the rate shop button. If you put the international address in the billing address you then get the international rates. |

| System uses shipping address provided there is a country and postal code specified. If any of these fields are empty, the billing address is used. |

Some countries dont have a postal code, I just tried it and using '00000' in that case works. Perhaps requiring a postal code for international addresses should be taken out? |

| Hi guys. Would the new FedEx API get implemented on this 5.9x platform? If not, any ballpark timeline on when it's scheduled for? Thanks! |

We will not be adding support for that until sometime next year. Probably Q2 or Q3. |
