IN the UPS set up wizard we made a name change in the PRIMARY CONTACT INFORMATION FOR UPS field. This caused the negotiated rates to disappear, and shipping department gets error message:
Error #1: USER ID and Shipper number combination is not qualified to receive negotiated rates.
When we noticed this, we changed the information back to the way it was originally set up, but the error message is still there and the negotiated rate field is not populated.
Anyone know how to fix this? And how can we make changes in the Primary Contact field without "loosing" negotiated rates etc? The account number settings and UPS code were not changed, I don't understand how changing a name could have this effect.
Thanks, A. Lovinger

| If any data is changed pertaining to your account settings in our UPS OnLine Tools Setup Wizard, the Order Manager must generate a new User/PW combination to use with the UPS OnLine Tools API. This is a requirement of UPS. You must contact UPS to have this new User/PW (UPS Rate Access Code) set up to receive Negotiated Rates as you did when the system was first set up. Instructions to do this are displayed in the Wizard on the page discussing the UPS Rate Access Code. |
